About the Author !
Tina Jones is the author behind Matilda the Cow Goes to the Circus and the upcoming “Secret Adventures of Cows” series—charming tales inspired by her time spent on a small English farm on the Essex/Suffolk border alongside Farmer Al, their beloved dog Ella, and a herd of 16 spirited cows and their calves.
While Tina’s full-time work keeps her off the tractor, her heart is firmly planted in the pasture. Her stories spring from quiet moments on the farm, where she’s come to know each cow not just as livestock but as a character with a personality and a tale all their own. Through her writing, Tina hopes to spotlight the incredible dedication of British farmers, many of whom work around the clock to care for their animals, protect the land and feed the nation. With farms across the UK
facing daily challenges, Tina’s books invite readers, young and old, to fall in love with the
countryside, celebrate the joy and value of local agriculture and discover the secret lives of cows.
